Hello Teachers!

The Kentucky Horse Park and International Museum of the Horse are ready to welcome you and your students for an engaging and educational field trip experience!

Continuing (and expanding!) last year’s field trip assistance program, our Kentucky Horse Park Field Trip Fund offers admission support for all Kentucky public schools. This spring, our scholarship program covers the full cost of admission for each Kentucky public school student (kindergarten through high school), their teachers, and up to one chaperone per ten students. Private schools can also be eligible based on their percentage of free or reduced lunch.

**New this spring: We have expanded our transportation aid to $100 per bus! Simply email or bring your bus invoice and the funds will be reimbursed to your school.

The Field Trip Fund is available on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains. While field trips are scheduled year-round, the scholarship assistance is for trips made between April 1- May 31, 2018.

During a field trip to the Park, students will visit the International Museum of the Horse, the Kids Barn, the Hall of Champions, the Big Barn, and Breeds Barn. Lunches are typically picnic style unless weather becomes an issue.

Please visit our School Group page for more information and to schedule your visit. For more information or additional questions, don’t hesitate to contact me at ashlee.chilton@ky.gov or at 859-259-4232.

We look forward to hosting your group at the Kentucky Horse Park!
