This event will present new perspectives on the history of historical and anthropological knowledge that consider Latin America as an active place and source of many ground-breaking ideas. The endeavor is to create a new "map" that help historians to trace differently the way in which knowledge was produced and circulated across the Atlantic, in doing so it would be possible to see the role played by Latin American intellectuals in the construction of historical and anthropological knowledge.
