Call for Book Chapters: Handbook of Arab Criminology
Handbook of Arab Criminology
This edited volume will be one of the first to bring together scholars, researchers, and specialists of the Arab world to further develop the disciplinary contours of Arab Criminology, covering vast issues including providing general overviews of Arab criminal justice systems, types of crimes/ criminality in the Arab world, criminal justice reform, and the role of Islamic law in Arab criminal justice systems. In doing so, the Handbook of Arab Criminology, through 29 chapters (each around 5000-6000 words), will be intended as a reference for scholars, graduate students, specialists, practitioners, and upper-level undergraduates. The edited volume will fill critical gaps in the study of criminology of the Arab world which is severely deficient and necessitates special attention (Ouassini & Ouassini 2020; Ouassini 2023) while addressing the challenges and implications of southern, international, and comparative criminology.
If you would like to contribute a chapter (or suggest an alternative scope for a chapter), please submit your abstract proposal in the google forms link below (minimum 250 words).
