The UK Latin American Historians' network (UKLAH) invites submissions to the UK Latin American Historians Early Career Article Prize, which will be awarded to the best article published by an early career scholar, understood as doctoral and postdoctoral researchers who have not yet held a permanent academic position. 
 
Articles should relate to Latin American history broadly defined, in English, Spanish, or Portuguese and have been published in 2021 or 2022, whether online or in print. Applicants should be affiliated to UKLAH, which can be done easily at: https://uklah.wordpress.com/contact The winning author will receive a prize of £200. 

 Please send article submissions to uklahprize@gmail.com by 31 March 2023. Submissions should include a copy of the article in PDF as well as the author’s full name and contact details. The prize will be awarded at the UKLAH annual conference on 19 May 2023.
 
The UKLAH network was founded in 2019 to raise the profile of research on Latin America within British academia and promote networking and knowledge exchange among UK-based researchers working on the region. We currently have over 80 members and the network is continually expanding. In addition to awarding an article prize every two years, UKLAH will be awarding a biannual book prize from 2024.
