„Poland - India. New chances of business cooperation”

 

The idea and aim of the conference

The purpose of the conference is to create a proactive Indo-Polish platform for the Indo-Polish dialogue at a government and private exchange levels in the fields of trade, science, technology transfer, and human sciences. The event will also constitute an opportunity to meet representatives of the Indo-Polish business. The potential of cooperation between the countries will be also covered. During the conference, panelists will discuss the challenges related to the exchanges between Poland and India.

Another goal of this event is to promote networking and recruiting potential students and graduates from India for Indian and foreign companies based in Poland. Our best students will be presented at the closing panel of our event. 

 

Main topic

The theme of the event is an attempt to review the state and directions of the cooperation between Poland and India.

The conference will present business cases of Indian companies based in Poland. The conference will also provide a platform of information addressed to Polish companies who are interested in an extension of awareness of their brand and export capabilities in India.

The conference will also have a theoretical dimension in order to present the latest developments in the field of trade opportunities between India and Poland.

The conference will be summarized through the speeches and discussions on cooperation between Polish and India within the following three panels:

 

To whom is addressed the conference?

The conference is addressed to different categories of persons. First, to scientists focused on relations between India and Europe. Secondly to owners and managers of companies and agencies, institutions and organizations, representatives of small, medium and large companies, managers, marketing specialists interested in the sales of goods and services in India. The event is also addressed to people interested in starting representation, businesses, companies, subsidiaries in India.

The conference will benefit from an interdisciplinary character being addressed not only to representatives of business or government but also to social sciences, humanities and engineering scholars.

 

Participation

The concept of the conference is based on the speeches of politicians and businessmen, diplomats and scientists dealing with the specificities of cooperation of India and Polish.

1. Specificities of the Indian and Polish markets

2. Sectors of the Indian and Polish economies

3. How to do business in India vs how to do business in Poland

4. Legal, fiscal and banking systems in India and Poland

5. Relations between the State and the foreign investor in India and Poland

6. Cultural specificities of business in India

7. Workers from India on the Polish labor market

 

Conference language

Polish language. Exceptionally, in agreement with the organizers, it will be allowed to deliver a speech in English if a presentation in Polish will be provided.

Please submit your abstract before the January 31st, 2018, sending an email to india2018@wsge.edu.pl

You will be notified shortly if the program committee accepts your proposal

 

Other issues

The participation to the conference is free of charge. A publication in our research journal will be charged 100 euro.
