The Australian Society of Archivists, Inc (ASA) is pleased to advise that the call for papers for its annual conference, to be held in Perth, Western Australia, in September 2018, is now open. The ASA is the national body representing archives and archivists, and typically expects 200 - 300 attendees at these conferences. Conference proceedings may be recorded on video and subsequently broadcast via the ASA's YouTube channel (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCB7MRhIRtrP5xuJFj0LMKTA). Presenters may also be able to publish via the ASA's journal, Archives and Manuscripts.

The call closes on 28 February and will not be extended. The conference committee welcomes submissions from archivists and records managers, as well as non-practitioners, that speak to the subthemes of identity, memory, evidence and accountability.

Further information on the conference can be found at https://www.archivists.org.au/learning-publications/2018-conference.

We look forward to hearing from you
