Travel Grant Fellowship Applications Now Open to attend 2018 Association of Art Museum Curators & AAMC Foundation Annual Conference & Meeting

Applications are now open for the Travel Grant Fellowships, available to art museum curators internationally to attend the 2018 Association of Art Museum Curators & AAMC Foundation Annual Conference & Meeting in Montéal, May 5-8, 2018. All application material is due by February 5, 2018 at 12pm ET.

AAMC members or curators wwho are eligible for AAMC membership may apply. Curators who work in museums with no funds for professional development travel are encouraged. Members may only apply for one Fellowship. Descriptions and applications of the Travel Grant Fellowshi opportunties are below.

  • Travel Grant Fellowships in American Art
    Applications are open to curators who work in American Art pre-1950 at the Associate Curator level and above, and who are directly affiliated with an institution

    The Association of Art Museum Curators (AAMC) & AAMC Foundation hosts an Annual Conference & Meeting, attracting over 400 curators and guests from around the world. It is the only conference of its kind where are curators from every discipline and field meet to discuss important issues facing the profession. The multi-day event includes mentorship opportunities, networking, professional development workshops, panel discussions, receptions, award announcements, receptions at host city cultural institutions, and a full membership meeting.
