Social Justice and the City -  CFP

 

AMPS (Architecture, Media, Politics, Society) and City Tech (City University of New York) are calling for papers related to questions of social justice, equity and community activism related to ‘the city’.  

Selected papers will be considered for publication in the AMPS journal published open access by UCL. Papers will be selected form teh following event:

Conference and Publication Call

Livable Cities is an initiative between City Tech – New York, Amps and City – University of London. Highlighting issues of  social justice its upcoming conference welcomes submissions from across disciplines and, importantly, from different places internationally.

Issues of interest include, but are not limited to: racial justice and the city; immigration; affordable housing; land rights; refugees and forced displacement; participatory planning; right to the city; urban migration; gentrification; community activism and cultural traditions.
