AFRICA IN THE GLOBAL COMMUNITY: LANDMARK ACHIEVMENTS, SETBACKS AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS
The African continent has been presented and described in the global space, most times negatively and by non-Africans. This conference intends to tell the story of Africa from within Africa and in rare African voices - to counter erroneous ideas and projections about Africa. At this conference, African progressive visionaries across the continent will reflect critically and discuss theoretical and empirical perspectives in African landmark achievements, setbacks and future developments. The conference, which is multidisciplinary, will facilitate conversations across a broad spectrum of disciplines, including the pure science and technology, Management, humanities, social sciences, arts, among others. This multidisciplinary approach will generate robust engagements and enable the forging of ambitious but concrete paths that will catalyse Africa’s prosperity.
