The OAH Committee on Community Colleges is seeking papers for a solicited session at the April 2017 meeting in New Orleans.  The theme for the conference is “Circulation.”  In the spirit of that theme and a nod to our host city, the Committee on Community Colleges is sponsoring a panel entitled “The Mississippi River: The Flow of People, Culture, and Economy.”  The topic lends itself to a wide variety of topics, across a broad range of time periods. 
 
While the focus is on presenting your original research, we would also like you to share your ideas on including that research in the classroom. 
 
We are accepting proposals until May 15, 2016.
