The Ohio Academy of HIstory seeks papers in all fields of history for its annual conference, which will be held April 14-15, 2023, at Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio.
We seek proposals for individual papers (20 minutes each), panels, and/or roundtables. Topics in all fields of history are welcome: Faculty, adjunct faculty, lecturers, graduate students, independent scholars, and museum, archive, and library professionals are all encouraged to apply.
Presentations are not confined to Ohio history. Although residents of Ohio are especially encouraged to submit proposals, we also invite out-of-state historians to apply.
Proposals must include the following:
- A title and 250-word abstract for each paper
- A short biography, resume, or curriculum vita (one page) for each applicant.
- Telephone number, e-mail, and mailing addresses
Please submit proposals as a .docx or .pdf file with the subject line "OAH Proposal" to Russ Crawford at r-crawford.2@onu.edu. If you are interested in serving as a panel chair or discussant, feel free to email r-crawford.2@onu.edu stating your field of expertise.
