Summer course: Citizenship and Migration: Europe's 21st century challenges

Location: Nijmegen, the Netherlands

Date: 8-12 August 2016

We would like to draw your attention to a summer course organized by the Centre for Migration Law, Nijmegen, the Netherlands on the topic of "Citizenship and Migration: Europe's 21st century challenges." The course will take place in Nijmegen (the Netherlands) during the 2nd week of August and is part of the Radboud Summer School ( ).

Designed for a wide audience, the course explores the interconnected fields of EU citizenship and EU migration law with a focus on understanding the differences that exist between EU citizens and migrants in relation to topics such as the possibility to physically enter or leave the EU, the right to work or seek education, the right to family reunification and the right to be treated equally in relation to social benefits. The course is open to advanced bachelor, master and PhD students (no background in law is required).
