busch_hall is a virtual space in which we are reimagining German art, national identity, and our shared global future through the lens of the Busch-Reisinger, founded as the Germanic Museum in 1903 and reinventing itself ever since. In addition to sharing weekly posts that reframe works from our collection, busch_hall also hosts monthly conversations with scholars, artists, and curators who think expansively about German art and identity. Past speakers have included Dorothy Price, Sara Blaylock, Peter Chametzky, and Lisa Lee. busch_hall also acts as a platform for sharing news and updates about exhibitions and other art related events that correspond with our themes.
