The theme of the 2023 Congress is: Reckonings & Re-Imaginings,” but papers on any onomastic topic are welcome. We also welcome papers to this year’s special panel, Names in Contact: Honouring the Legacy of Wolfgang Ahrens. Please indicate whether you would like your paper to be considered for this special panel.

Presentations are 20 minutes, plus 10 minutes for questions and discussion. Remote presentations are welcome.

You need not be a current member of the Society to submit an abstract, but at the time of acceptance of your paper, you must become a member in order to be included in the programme. In addition, all presenters (in-person and virtual) are required to pay registration dues for Congress and for CSSN. Further details will be provided when you are notified of acceptance of your paper. To become a member of CSSN, visit CSSN’s membership page. To learn more about the Congress, visit Congress 2023.
