In addition to the AHRC DTP and general University funding schemes, the German Section at Cambridge is pleased to be able to offer a number of scholarships to support PhD and MPhil students across a wide range of German Studies interests. These include a Schröder PhD Scholarship with full funding for international or UK candidates, a Schröder/Tiarks PhD Scholarship with full funding for UK candidates, a Schröder MPhil Scholarship of £12,000, and part-funding awards for MPhil or PhD students through the Tiarks Fund. Full details (including links to general University funding information) can be found on the following page: https://www.mmll.cam.ac.uk/german/postgraduates/applications-funding.
We are very happy to respond to any questions relating to postgraduate work in German Studies at Cambridge.
