You are invited to a truly unique event, taking place at 5:30pm in the Old Divinity School, St John’s college on November 27th. The subject is nothing less than the multiple crises facing us in the modern world, with the presentation of a game-changing new thesis which can help us make sense of it all.
This thesis, known as the Mizan Thesis, has been developed by Cambridge Centre of Islamic Studies Visiting Fellow Ahmed Paul Keeler, and further refined in collaboration with a group of scholars based at the University of Cambridge. It aims to completely reframe our understanding of the challenges facing the modern world, with reference to the different trajectories of the Western and Islamic civilisations.
Through a dynamic multimedia presentation, the full implications of this challenging paradigm will be explored, providing participants with a clarifying new lens through which to view the contemporary world. We look forward to seeing you there.
Tickets (including Refreshments) - £15, £10 Students
