We welcome contributions from a wide range of research interests relevant to Asia, but not limited to, areas such as political histories, economic histories, environmental histories, maritime histories, intellectual histories, colonial/imperial histories, histories of science, medicine and technology, race, gender, class and migration studies, within the broader perspective of regional studies and transnational/global histories.

The workshop will be held in-person and/or online from January to March 2023. We are open to diverse submissions from NTU and non-NTU postgraduates who work on relevant topics/disciplines. Individual presentations should be around 30 to 35 minutes in length, followed by 25 minutes of discussion. Interested participants should submit an abstract of no more than 300 words and a brief biography to ntuhistworkshop@gmail.com by 18 November 2022 (Friday).
