The Sims Library of Poetry has an open call for submissions for the 1619 Speaks Anthology. 

This submission call is only for folks who identify as African-American.

Submission Guidelines:
- Your work must be an homage to an African-American poet of the past
- You must identify as African-American
- Works accepted: poetry, prose, visual art
- Format of submission: .docx (poetry + prose) or .png (visual art)

Deadline: November 15, 2022

All accepted artists will receive a $50 honorarium, plus a copy of the anthology.
