Dear all,

You are invited to attend the first lecture of this term's Late Antique and Byzantine Seminar Series, hosted by the School of Art History and Cultural Policy, University College Dublin, and co-organised by Lynda Mulvin and Sean Leatherbury. The talks in this term's series focuses on links between Byzantine, medieval, and Islamic art and architecture.
 
The opening speaker in our Autumn series is Finbarr Barry Flood, William R. Kenan, Jr., Professor of the Humanities, New York University, who will be speaking on Monday, 26 September, 3:00pm. The lecture is co-sponsored by the Chester Beatty in Dublin, and will take place in the Chester Beatty's Lecture Theatre.
