The London Journal is currently seeking expressions of interest for new members of its Editorial Board in the following fields: early modern history, post-1945 history, and 20th or 21st century literature. We are also looking for someone who can take on the role of Arts and Media Reviews Editor.
The London Journal is a multi-disciplinary periodical embracing all aspects of metropolitan society past and present. Members of the Board oversee the peer review process of article submissions in their field, and they are expected to solicit submissions, promote the Journal, and attend (in person or virtually) meetings of the Board, at which policy decisions are made. They should be actively involved in researching and publishing on London topics. Expressions of interest are particularly welcome from groups currently underrepresented in journal publishing. You do not need to be located in the UK.
Terms of Reference for members of the Board are available here.
Expressions of interest, to include a CV and a short statement that outlines your research and publications on London, your interest in the Journal, and your qualifications for the role, should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by 7 October 2022.
