This week's In Media Res theme focus is legendary film director Spike Lee (December 11-15, 2017).

Monday, December 11 - Dafna Kaufman (Georgia State University) presents "Not Just Another Sports Film:  Spike Lee's Layered Contexts and Implications in He Got Game."

Tuesday, December 12 - Ruth Doughty (Liverpool John Moores University) presents "Spike Lee: Selling the Black Aesthetic."

Wednesday, December 13 - Heather E. Harris (Stevenson University) and Kimberly Moffitt (University of Maryland Baltimore County) presents "She's Gotta Have It: The (Re)focusing of Nola Darling."

Thursday, December 14 - Rebecca Leung (Ramapo College of New Jersey) and Robert E. Williams (New York Post) presents "The Millennial Nola Darling: Is Spike Lee Ready?".

Friday, December 15 - Arthur Knight (The College of William & Mary) presents "Authorship and Expanded Self: 'Spike Lee's Performance Documentaries."
