Several departments at Temple University's College of Liberal Arts, joined African American Studies faculty in order to launch an inaugural conference for a trans-disciplinary dialogue on the status and future of migrants and refugees who are leaving their homeland in North Africa, Southwest Asia, and other parts of the world, in fear of war, hunger and political conflict. We invite scholars to submit their paper abstracts in not more than 250 words, on one of the aspects of the exodus from North Africa and Southwest Asia towards Europe, and beyond.
