I am currently seeking scholars who might be willing to serve as external readers for the book proposal for my edited volume, Teaching Fashion Studies: Pedagogy and Practice.  The volume features contributors from disciplines including Africana Studies, Business, English, History, Sociology, Women’s and Gender Studies (among others), outlining a fashion studies interdisciplinary exercise or assignment which they assign in their classrooms (offering background and guidance for instructors about how to best use this exercise, and reflecting on pedagogical best practices and outcomes.)

I will be submitting my proposal for this volume early in 2016, and am seeking scholars interested in fashion studies to review the proposal for prospective presses.  If you might have any interest in serving as such a reviewer, and could e-mail me at hkent3@uis.edu by Friday, January 8th, I would very much appreciate it!

Please let me know if you have any questions about this volume, potentially being a reviewer for it, or anything else—thank you!

Best,

Holly Kent
