CONF: „EMOTIONEN – MEDIEN – DISKURSE. Interdisziplinäre Zugänge zur Emotionsforschung“ / "EMOTIONS - MEDIA - DISCOURSES. Interdisciplinary Approaches to Emotion Research".

In the days 26-27 May 2022 in Bydgoszcz (Poland) will be held a scientific conference entitled "EMOTIONS - MEDIA - DISCURSES. Interdisciplinary Approaches to Emotion Research".

The conference will focus on the exchange between representatives of media, communication, literature, linguistics, political science, cultural studies, and sociology from Germany, Norway, and Poland who have made emotions or affects their research objects.

The conference will be held within the framework of the project "Emotional Neighborhood. Affects in German-Polish Media Discourses since Poland's EU Accession". The project is implemented in cooperation by Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz and the University of Bayreuth.

In den Tagen 26.-27. Mai 2022 findet in Bydgoszcz (Polen) eine wissenschaftliche Tagung unter dem Titel „EMOTIONEN – MEDIEN – DISKURSE. Interdisziplinäre Zugänge zur Emotionsforschung“ statt.

Im Mittelpunkt der Konferenz soll der Austausch zwischen Vertreter:innen der Medien-, Kommunikations-, Literatur-, Sprach-, Politik- und Kulturwissenschaft sowie der Soziologie aus Deutschland, Norwegen und Polen stehen, die Emotionen bzw. Affekte zu ihren Forschungsobjekten gemacht haben.

Die Tagung wird im Rahmen des aus Mitteln der Deutsch-Polnischen Wissenschaftsstiftung geförderten Projekts „Emotionale Nachbarschaft. Affekte in deutsch-polnischen medialen Diskursen seit dem EU-Beitritt Polens“ organisiert. Das Projekt wird in Kooperation von der Kazimierz Wielki-Universität in Bydgoszcz und der Universität Bayreuth umgesetzt.
