CALL FOR BOOK CHAPTERS
Dear Scholars/Academicians,
Research articles reflecting serious academic research are requested, for publication in an edited volume tentatively titled “Postcolonial Feminisms”. The scope of the book though not restricted to the following, might include the following sub-topics:
1. Cultural impact on the indigenous idea of feminine
2. The Oriental concept of feminine
3. Indian feminisms
4. Is there an Indian Feminism?
5. The Postcolonial world and the rise of the feminists
6. Where do women stand in the postcolonial world
7. Feminism and its impact on the postcolonial migrant communities
8. The ideas of female, feminine and feminist in the 21st Century
9. Revisionist feminist writings of today and their colonial hangover
10. The need for an indigenous feminist identity
Contributors interested in sending chapters for the proposed book are requested to follow the following guidelines regarding submission of their manuscripts.:
- The research articles must be between 2500 - 4000 words including an abstract of 200-250 words and a maximum of 5 key words.
- The research articles must follow MLA 8th edition for citation and referencing.
- The research articles must show significant and original research work. The articles submitted for publication must be previously unpublished and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- Plagiarism check shall be conducted for each submitted manuscript post submission.
- Each author must submit a signed declaration and a short bio-note along with his/her manuscript, vouching for the originality of the manuscripts submitted.
- Submissions must be made to the email id: postcolonialfeminisms@gmail.com on or before 22.05.2022.
The edited volume shall be published from an international publishing house. The contributors shall be intimated of the acceptance or rejection of their articles by 30.05.2021. The tentative publication of the edited volume is expected to be in October 2022.
Please note that there are no hidden costs/APCs involved in the process of selection and publication of the edited volume.
