This international conference aims to analyze a key period of the recent Chilean history: the years 1970-1973, which correspond to Salvador Allende’s presidency (also known as Popular Unity). We will welcome papers that will help grasping the Popular Unity‘s international impact. We are interested in the political, intellectual and artistic echos that Allende’s democratic "road to socialism” had on left-wing, moderate and right-wing parties or governments, as well as on intellectuals and artists. You can find the full CfP here: https://calenda.org/985335.
