Fellowships on Race and Ethnicity

Research assistance on African diaspora in France

I'm researching grant possibilities for my next book project: the art of contemporary French artists of African descent. I am especially interested in applying feminist, post-colonial, and race critical theory in a French context, and hope to gain insight from my previous project in the British context (Contemporary British Artists of African Descent and the Unburdening of a Generation, Cham, Switzerland: Palgrave Macmillan, 2017). I want to be based in or around Marseille, and am looking for approximately six months of funding.
