CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: Travel and Research Grants

     The Central European History Society (CEHS) seeks applications from North American doctoral candidates (ABD) and recent PhDs (up to three years after completion of degree) in Central European history for travel and research grants up to $3,500. Funds are intended to support dissertation research and follow-up research, and may be used on travel between 1 April and 31 December 2018.

The 42nd German Studies Association (GSA) Conference in Pittsburgh, PA (September 27-30, 2018) will continue to host a series of seminars in addition to conference sessions and roundtables.

POSITION: Head of Collections at The Wiener Library (London, UK)

The Wiener Library is looking for a Head of Collections, the individual will be responsible for the management, development and preservation of all collections at the Wiener Library and making them accessible to readers. The objectives are to be reached within the framework of the Library’s management structure and strategic goals. The Head of Collections is a member of the senior management team and therefore reports to the Director of The Wiener Library.
