Dear Colleagues,

I would like to share an announcement with about an online course that Liz Monson is about to start teaching on Inviting the Divine Feminine, through the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies.

Here is the title and description:

Inviting the Divine Feminine: Practices for Transformation and Resilience

In this six-week online course with Lama Liz Monson, we will take a deep dive into the energies of the Divine Feminine as they are found in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. Together, we will explore why and how these innate feminine energies, present in all human beings, should and could arise in our experience today as powerful resources for support and guidance during these groundless times. We will practice inviting these energies into our direct experience, feeling their natural somatic and psychophysical engagement in our bodies, hearts and minds as reminders that we always possess the capacity to transmute the frozen shards of our difficult emotional energies into a flowing river of resilience, insight, spaciousness, and clarity.

Meeting Schedule: Thursdays 5:30 - 7:00 PM between September 24 - October 29

Elizabeth Monson, PhD, is the Spiritual Co-Director of Natural Dharma Fellowship and has taught at the Harvard Divinity School. She currently serves as the managing teacher of Wonderwell Mountain Refuge, a Buddhist meditation retreat center in Springfield, NH. She holds a Doctorate in Religious Studies with a focus in Tibetan Buddhism and Ethics from Harvard University. She has been studying, practicing, and teaching Buddhism for over thirty years and has been ordained as Lama in the Kagyu tradition of Tibetan Buddhism.
