The Mountain of Five Plateaus: Multidisciplinary and Transborder/Cultural Approaches to the Study of Mount Wutai

Dear Colleagues,

We are seeking academic contributions for an edited volume provisionally titled The Mountain of Five Plateaus: Multidisciplinary and Transborder/Cultural Approaches to the Study of Mount Wutai. The volume will be built in part around papers presented at a panel put together for the most recent congress of International Association of Buddhist Studies in Vienna, Austria:

We are seeking additional papers on any aspect of the Wutai cult, especially those connected with Japan, Korea and Central Asia.

If you would like to contribute, please send a brief description of your project and a short CV to Chen Jinhua (陳金華jinhuachen2013@gmail.com) by December 15, 2014. Entries will be due in June 2015.
