RESOURCE> Digitized Resource of Photographs and Manuscripts from Burma

Dear Colleagues,

the Royal Ontario Museum (Toronto, Canada) has now put online Burmese photographs and documents, plus a blog note, relating to Dr. Clement Williams. Williams was a British army surgeon who befriended King Mindon and become the British political agent and business dealer in Mandalay in the early 1860s. The hope is that these resources will be circulated widely among scholars and experts to elicit further information, factual corrections, translations, and research.
