Ibadan Journal of Gender Studies [ISSN: 2489 - 0154] is a registered international journal committed to the promotion of gender issues and gender-related studies throughout the world. The biennial journal is an initiative of the Gender Mainstreaming Office (GMO) of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, and it made its debut in 2014/2015 with instant success. Original, well-researched and gender-oriented articles (regardless of sexual perspectives) are hereby invited for the upcoming 2016/2017 edition (Vol. 2 Nos 3 & 4). The maximum length is approximately 7,500 - 8,000 words, preceded by an Abstract of between 250 and 300 words. Referencing must follow the latest MLA Style Sheet, and authors must obtain prior permission for the use of copyright materials. Once published, the copyright of each article belongs to the GMO of the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. Articles should be submitted online to the journal's address: firstname.lastname@example.org, with a copy to email@example.com, stating full name (surname underlined), sex (whether male or female), highest qualification, institutional affiliation, position held, phone number and e-mail address, to be received not later than 31 August, 2017. All articles received will be subjected to a blind peer-review process to determine publishability or otherwise, and assessment fee may be charged. Also, all articles received will be duly acknowledged, but only successful authors will be notified.
