Initial Salary Range $127,161-$134,730 

This solicitation of interest is to create a pool of candidates to fill an excepted service, AD-07 faculty position at the Marine Corps University (MCU), Training and Education Command, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia. The incumbent will serve as Professor of Military History, School of Advanced Warfighting. 

Job Summary: The primary purpose of this position is to plan, develop, coordinate, implement, teach, and evaluate the accredited, graduate-level lessons of instruction for SAW. The incumbent will also serve as a faculty advisor to an assigned seminar group of 13-16 students (military officers with 10-15 years of experience from all aimed services of the United States, and comparable experienced international military students and interagency professions), providing subject-matter expertise, graduate-level instruction, mentoring, coaching, guidance, evaluation, feedback, and leadership for the students, fellow faculty members, and staff of the College.
