It is a pleasure for us to invite you to the international conference "Experts and Expertise in the League of Nations Mandates: Figures, Fields and Tools" that will take place at the Institut National des Langues et Cultures Orientales (INALCO), Paris, on March 26-27, 2015.

Please find the program of conference below.

This is an open conference, of special interest for students of international relations, Modern and Contemporary history, colonial studies, Middle Eastern studies, African Studies and Pacific studies. Due to the recent upgrade of security measures in France and in Paris in particular, we invite everyone who wishes to attend to bring proof of ID, the presentation of which might be asked of them at the entrance of the INALCO.

The languages of the conference will be English and French.

The Institut National des Langues et Cultures Orientales is located close to the Bibliothèque François Mitterrand metro station, 65, rue des Grands Moulins – 75013 PARIS :

Le colloque est accessible sans restriction de public, il intéressera tout particulièrement les personnes intéressées aux relations internationales, à l'histoire contemporaine, aux études coloniales, et aux études sur le Moyen-Orient, l'Afrique et le Pacifique. En raison de la situation actuelle, cependant, nous invitons tous ceux qui voudront y assister à se munir d'une pièce d'identité qui pourra leur être demandée à l'entrée de l'INALCO.

Le colloque aura lieu en français et en anglais.
