2022 AAG Historical Geography Specialty Group student paper and research awards


The Historical Geography Specialty Group of the AAG is pleased to announce the following awards for this year:


Andrew Hill Clark Paper Award (PhD)

1st place: Emily Holloway – Clark University. "Bodies in Transit: Speculation and the Biopolitical Imaginary."

2nd place: Samuel Brandt – UCLA. "The Brazilian Scene: David Lowenthal, John Dos Passos, and the Importance of 'Scene' and Brazil to Geographic Inquiry."

 

Carville Earle Research Award (PhD)
