Invitation for Essay Submission: Forum for Ukrainian Studies (Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies)
The Forum for Ukrainian Studies invites essays submissions from policy experts, think tankers, practitioners, and scholars at various career stages to explore, analyze, and discuss contemporary developments in Ukraine, in the Eastern Europe region, and on the global stage from a variety of points of view and disciplines.
We encourage submissions in, but not limited to, the following areas:
- International relations
- Political landscape
- Media
- Society
- Culture
- Security
- Human rights
The essays should have a length of 1,500–3,500 words. All references should be included using the “Insert Footnote” function in Microsoft Word. Internet sources can be embedded directly in the text using the Insert Link function. All visual materials should be captured and properly credited. Please submit visuals both in the text and as separate file attachments. At the end of the article, please provide a brief bio and current affiliation.
Ukrainian-language original or previously published work will be considered for translation; in case of the latter, permission to reprint the translation must be provided and the publication will be properly referenced.

All the essays published on the Forum for Ukrainian Studies go through an internal review, and if approved by the editorial board, they are professionally edited and then posted at https://www.ukrainian-studies.ca.
