Symposium "How is War Changing Media Futures in Ukraine?" and Exhibit: BEARING WITNESS: PHOTOGRAPHS FROM UKRAINE. Organized by U-Penn and Fulbright Ukraine
Please join this hybrid opening and symposium on April 13-14: "How is War Changing Media Futures in Ukraine?" and Fulbright Ukraine photographic exhibit at University of Pennsylvania Annenberg Center for Media at Risk. Photographs will be on display at the center for several weeks following the opening.
Organized by the University of Pennsylvania Center for Media at Risk and the Fulbright Program in Ukraine, "How is War Changing Media Futures in Ukraine?" is a two-part event beginning Thursday, April 13 with a photography exhibit featuring some of the most prominent professional photographers and journalists among U.S. and Ukrainian Fulbright Alumni who are today working in the context of the war, providing images and texts for both major global and independent media outlets: BEARING WITNESS: PHOTOGRAPHS FROM UKRAINE. Exhibit opening and curator discussion will be on Friday, April 14 with sessions on the topics of documentary filmmaking, media scholarship and fact-checking. The exhibit will remain on view in the Annenberg School Forum through the end of the semester. We hope you can join us!
