CfP: Canadian Slavonic Papers' forum on de-colonization

Dear colleagues,

As the editor of Canadian Slavonic Papers, I am writing to solicit contributions to a forum we would like to publish this spring or summer on "de-colonization" and what it might mean for our field(s).  The format would be similar to that of the forum we recently published on Russia's February invasion of Ukraine:  5,000 to 9,000 words including references, perhaps reflecting personal experience, that can contribute to setting the direction of debates that will be taking place with growing frequency over the coming year.  Contributions from any discipline are welcome, as well as perspectives from any region that our association covers.

If you are interested, please contact me directly at by Dec. 10.  As with the recent forum, papers will undergo expedited peer review (ideally two weeks as opposed to the conventional two months) so that we can publish contributions as quickly as possible.

With best wishes,
James Krapfl
