Hi Yelena,
My interest is more on education and educational uses of podcasts/podcasting. I leave here some of the references for papers I have found interesting.
All the best,
Pedro

Thanks for posting.

I'm a big fan of Siobhan McHugh's work.

From a teaching perspective. I would recommend Jessica Abel's graphic novel for teaching audio storytelling/podcasting in class.

Abel, Jessica. Out on the Wire: The Storytelling Secrets of the New Masters of Radio. (New York: Broadway Books, 2015).

Best,
Kent

Just a note we will be reviewing Out on the Wire: The Storytelling Secrets of the New Masters of Radio, I just last week lined up a reviewer for this book. Please send book recommendations my way so we can review them on H-Podcast.

Robert

I look forward to reading the review.

I'll send other book recommendations.

Another one I can recommend off the top of my head is

Makagon, Daniel, and Mark Neumann. Recording Culture. Vol. 53. Sage, 2009.

I'm working on a book on creating sonic compositions including podcasts with oral history collections. This is the only text I've encountered that is in a similar vein.
