This past summer, the “Michigan ADA 30th Anniversary Celebration: From Disability Rights to Disability Justice” hosted a fantastic series of events, covering everything from disability history to activism, law, policy, performance, art, dance, film, and more. The series was so popular that it has been continued as “I Love You, Lead On,” echoing the words of the transformative disability rights leader Justin Dart, which offers daily events to a membership of people with disabilities and their allies.
“I Love You, Lead On” is looking for historians and scholars of disability to offer short presentations to this community via Zoom. If you are interested in sharing your research and knowledge, please send a short description of what you would like to talk about and the days and times that you are available to Susan Fitzmaurice at firstname.lastname@example.org. Presenters are primarily needed for Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 3pm.
