The CUNY School of Professional Studies is launching an online Master of Arts in Museum Studies. CUNY SPS has been offering online education opportunities to adult learners since 2006. This program is in partnership with the New-York Historical Society and seeks to meet the needs of adult learners interested in preparing themselves for new opportunities in museum work or building on experience.  Scholarships are being offered to some fall applicants and are in support of diversity within museum work and particularly leadership.

Fall courses include Museum Administration, Finance and the Law, History and Theory of Museums, and The Art and Material Culture of the New York Historical Society all developed and taught by N-YHS leadership. Disability and Inclusion will also be offered in the fall, taught by a leader in that field who specializes in access to culture institutions.

We have an online information session scheduled for June 12. Registration information is available at  museumstudies@sps.cuny.edu or simply by registering here: hhttps://attendee.gotowebinar.com/register/2836326982163160075

If you have any questions about the program or online learning at CUNY SPS, please feel free to reach out to me.

Sincerely,

Jenna
