Mark Golson Discussion

Greetings,

The 2nd Edition of The SAGE Encyclopedia of Cancer and Society, the follow-up to the 2008 Booklist Editor's Choice Award winning publication, is currently under production. This updated three-volume reference will include over 700 articles covering issues that surround cancer and its effects on society. The deadline is set for July 21, 2014.

The scope of the Encyclopedia encompasses the relative individual and societal aspects of cancer, from the latest research from the National Cancer Institute and other cancer research institutions and cancer organizations to studies on alternative diet and nutrition treatments.

The SAGE Encyclopedia of Cancer and Society will be published by SAGE Reference in 2015 and marketed to students via academic and public libraries as a print and digital product. The General Editor reviewing each submission to the project is Dr. Graham Colditz of Washington University in St. Louis.

SAGE Publications offers contributors an honorarium of SAGE book credits for smaller contributions up to a free set of the encyclopedia for contributions of 10,000 words or more. Your name and affiliation will also appear in the byline of the entry.
