Smithsonian Food History Weekend:  Please check out the full schedule for the 2017 Smithsonian Food History Weekend, coming up on October 26-28 at the National Museum of American History in Washington, DC: Our theme this year is Many Flavors, One Nation, to correspond with the museum’s new exhibitions on migrations (Many Voices, One Nation) and American democracy. We’re delighted to have a dynamic cohort of food scholars on the program—particularly the Friday Roundtables—and hope you’ll make plans to attend as much of the weekend as possible!
