New issue of the PRC History Review Book Review Series

The PRC History Group is pleased to announce a new bilingual (Chinese and English)  issue of  the PRC History Review Book Review Series. Li Yujie reviews Yang Kuisong’s Eight Outcasts: Social and Political Marginalization in China under Mao. Translated by Gregor Benton and Ye Zhen (Berkeley: University of California Press, 2019). The author had originally intended to publish a response to the review, but circumstances beyond his control have delayed that process. http://prchistory.org/prc-history-review/
