This site brings together a community of educators focused on curriculum development at the intersection of German Studies, Environmental Humanities, and community-engaged learning. Nicole Fischer, Kiley Kost, Dan Nolan, and Seth Peabody will briefly present on the background and goals of the site. The event will also feature a conversation with two impactful leaders in curricular innovation, Beth Kautz and Charlotte Melin. Please consider joining us for the conversation on topics including interdisciplinary innovative learning practices in German Studies, place-based immersive curriculum development, virtual and local community partnership development, and humanities-based sustainability education at the intersections of environment, power, and identities.
