Dear AMCA Members,
Since its launch in May of 2015, the H-AMCA Reviews program has commissioned and published over a dozen reviews on some of the field’s most innovative and important new books. We have been delighted with the growth of our H-Net platform and will continue to invest in making H-AMCA a useful and productive resource. In this spirit, we are pleased to welcome three new members to the H-AMCA Reviews team – Alessandra Amin, Nisa Ari, and Sarah Dwider – who will be joining Jessica Gerschultz as Review Editors.
Alessandra Amin, PhD Student, Department of Art History, University of California, Los Angeles
Nisa Ari, PhD Candidate, History, Theory, and Criticism of Architecture and Art program, MIT and 2016-17 Fellow, Palestinian American Research Center
Sarah Dwider, Curatorial Assistant at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation
Jessica Gerschultz, Assistant Professor in the Department of African and African-American Studies at the University of Kansas and an AMCA Board Member (Secretary)
As the H-AMCA editorial committee makes this transition, we wish to recognize the service of Sarah-Neel Smith and Berin Golonu who have commissioned numerous essays between April 2015 and April 2017. Many thanks to Sarah-Neel and Berin for their excellent work on the H-AMCA reviews team! Of course, we would also like to thank Jessica Gerschultz for her continuing service to H-AMCA in her capacity as a review editor and the AMCA Secretary. H-AMCA could not be a success without Jessica’s persistent support!
If you are an H-AMCA subscriber, you should be receiving AMCA-commissioned reviews via email, but you can also access them through the H-Net reviews page (http://www.h-net.org/reviews/home.php). If you have any questions about the H-AMCA reviews program, please contact Tiffany Floyd (H-AMCA Network Editor, firstname.lastname@example.org) or Jessica Gerschultz (email@example.com).
