Meet the Editors
Lillian Hussong

Lillian Hussong is a PhD Candidate and Simon Reich Fellow for Research in Global Governance at the Rutgers University Division of Global Affairs (DGA). She was appointed a list editor in 2016 for H-Genocide and is responsible for moderating discussions and posting the weekly H-Net Job List.
Hussong has long held an interest in genocide studies, earning a Master of Arts in Holocaust & Genocide Studies with program distinction at Stockton University in 2014. At Rutgers, Hussong is an graduate student affiliate of the Center for the Study of Genocide & Human Rights and a co-founding member of the Genocide & Atrocity Prevention (GAP) project, which provides factual and scholarly information about emerging and ongoing situtations in which genocide and atrocity crimes are taking place. She also received a partial fellowship from Charles University to attend their Summer Seminar on Nationalism, Religion, and Violence in the Czech Republic (2016).
Additional work experience in genocide studies includes serving as an editor for H-Genocide, as a member of the adjunct faculty at Stockton University where she taught courses on Holocaust history and non-Jewish victims, and at the Kulanu School for Jewish Studies as a guest lecturer on Holocaust history. Hussong has published with the journal Fwd: Museums at the University of Illinois at Chicago on Holocaust counter-memorials and two of Hussong's lectures have been comissioned as teaching units for the internationally award-winning documentary Drawing Against Oblivion. Hussong also created a lecture series at Stockton University - Manahawkin where she gave public lectures on various areas of Holocaust Studies and the Rwandan Genocide.
