Perpetrator Studies Network Launch of Salvador Santino F. Regilme’s Aid Imperium (University of Michigan Press, 2021)

On 17 March the Perpetrator Studies Network will launch Salvador Santino F. Regilme’s Aid Imperium: United States Foreign Policy and Human Rights in Post-Cold War Southeast Asia (University of Michigan Press, 2021). The book explores how US foreign policy affects state repression and physical integrity rights outcomes in Southeast Asia and the rest of the Global South.

Dr. Daniel Blocq (Affiliated Researcher, Leiden Law School) will be the moderator, and Dr. Yuna Han (Departmental Lecturer, University of Oxford) and Professor Dr. Bonny Ibhawoh (Professor and Senator William McMaster Chair in Global Human Rights, McMaster University) will be the discussants.
