CfA - Israel, July 2015: International Summer Certificate Program in Conflict Resolution
The successful Conflict Resolution, Management and Negotiation Graduate Program at Bar-Ilan University has recently launched the International Summer Program in Identity-Based Conflict Resolution. This interdisciplinary Summer Program offers the opportunity to earn 11 academic credits in a period of four weeks (July 5-30) and get a certificate. Its five courses address conflict transformation into collaboration, religion and conflict, collective memory and narratives, Alternative Dispute Resolution and culture, as well as internships in peace NGOs and in related leading think tanks. Each course can also be taken separately. The Program is taught in English and consists of seminars, workshops, simulations, guest lectures, and two full-day study tours.
The Program’s credits are recognized worldwide in conjunction with students’ home/future universities. It is open worldwide, to holders of undergraduate/graduate degrees, current graduate students and current advanced undergraduate students from all disciplines in the social sciences, the liberal arts and the humanities. It is also tailored to peace and conflict practitioners, providing theoretical insights and practical tools.
