The Master of Arts in Holocaust and Genocide Studies at Kean University is Inviting applications for the fall, 2014, semester. The program is one of three of its kind in the United States and the one closest to New York City, a center of human rights activity.
28 degree candidates from colleges and universities throughout the United States are currently enrolled in courses or writing their masters degree theses in comparative genocide. The program is committed to blending scholarship with activism and, toward that end, sponsors an internship program, partners with the UK's University of Leicester School of Law human rights program (LLM), and organizes summer study delegations to locations abroad where genocide occurred. Collaborating with the university's Human Rights Institute and Holocaust Resource Center, our program commissions visiting scholars, organizes conferences and seminars, and prepares degree candidates for other conferences.
